The Senior Software Developer-Fax to Email is responsible for applications development for cloud based fax to email services and digital document services using Hostopia’s proprietary platform.
There's currently a team of 10. You'd have exposure to many other teams and technical challenges outside of this specific role. Hostopia hires smart people so you'd have a great team around you with room to grow.
Accountabilities:
- Lead development of the cloud based fax solution
- Server side development of cloud based fax service using PHP, C, C++, Perl, Java
- Front end development requirements based on HTML, CSS, JS and AJAX or supported frameworks
- Coordinate System Integration Testing and participate in User Acceptance Testing
- Analyzes customer requirements to produce functional specifications and detail design specifications
- Demonstrates strong problem solving capabilities with respect to technical issues
- Demonstrates capabilities for reverse engineering and customization of open source software
- Accurately estimate effort for assigned tasks and consistently meet commitments
- Coordinate and interact with other development and infrastructure groups
- Primarily responsible for work on cloud based fax to email and digital document signing services
- Other duties as assigned
