Adopt-a-Pet.com, North America's largest non-profit pet adoption website, is seeking a Web Developer. You'll work closely with the rest of our distributed engineering team in Richmond and L.A. to support our mission of finding a safe, loving home for every companion animal.
Reporting directly to the Technical Director in The SF Bay Area, your role as a back end developer will be varied, primarily developing web based software for 4 million potential adopters each month and over 15 thousand animal shelters and rescue organizations, built using various technologies including Perl and PostgreSQL, PHP and MySQL, nginx and Apache.

Location:
Adopt-a-Pet.com is looking to grow its team in Richmond, Indiana. We’re a distributed team, so often you’ll be working on your own and collaborating via Google Hangouts with other team members, heading to the office at least a couple of days per week to collaborate face-to-face with your other Richmond team members.
