The Product Office - Internationalization team is hiring a Senior Engineer for our Tools development team.
The role is focuses on extending our world-class, cloud-based Translation Management System (TMS) to support the internationalization of all HERE products.
The tools development encompasses a range of technology and includes improving existing and implementing new internationalization management capabilities, in order to serve a wide range of customers, e.g. design, development, localization, freelance translators and testers.
We are looking for an experienced engineer with equally strong backend and frontend skills to join our team.
What will you do?
Working as part of the Internationalization team, you will contribute to the design and development of our TMS, including both the frontend web interface and interactions with our backend systems.
In this role, you work closely with the product owner, and take engineering responsibilities for:
• TMS feature planning, implementation and documentation
• API and implementation documentation.
• Maintaining TMS IT infrastructure
• Integrations between the TMS and continuous integration systems
• Integrations between the TMS and a number of internal & external systems
• Mentoring junior members of the development team
You will work alongside the localisation team on the TMS delivered to both internal and external stakeholders. This involves maintaining and prioritizing the product backlog with the Product Owner, communicating with the stakeholders on requirements and reporting, planning and coordinating releases.
