Kiloo consists of over 100 dedicated people with many different backgrounds, nationalities and cultures. We are currently looking for a Senior Backend Engineer for our headquarters in Aarhus.
Are you experienced with large-scale server systems and how to handle many users and requests at the same time? Do you know how to squeeze extra performance out of a backend system by optimizing the architecture, data structure and queries, and are you looking for an opportunity where you can put your passion and talents into use? As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will be part of a dedicated team of developers providing the servers and technical infrastructure for our games. Your role in the team is to be the main go-to person when it comes to decisions about server architecture and choice of technologies. Your tasks will include assisting the team with design and architecture decisions as well as development of backend systems, making sure that games run smooth when launched, and scales well down the road.
YOUR PROFILE
- You feel at home with .NET C# backend development and IIS webservers
- You are very experienced with SQL and noSQL databases (MSSQL, MongoDB, DocumentDB) in large scale, high performance systems
- You are passionate about backend architecture – both on a infrastructure and on a software design level
- You have a passion for optimizing code and database queries to achieve fast response times
- Experience with high concurrent request server systems and setups
- Experience with game development and Microsoft Azure is a plus
- You consider working with systems that are LIVE 24/7 an interesting challenge
- You are a team player that takes responsibility
- You’re fluent in English, spoken and written
