The Time Warner Cable office currently seeks a/an Sr. Cloud Developer for our Cloud Engineering & Ops Department. Below please find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position.
Position Summary
The successful candidate is expected to assist with the development and support of day-to-day business infrastructure, software utilities and Automation for the Time Warner Cable Cloud Engineering & Ops organization. In addition, they will be required to develop and maintain integration of Cloud Infrastructure with external software platforms (Netcool, Splunk, Remedy, ESD, Icinga etc.). This person is also expected to interface with the NOC organization to ensure appropriate visibility of the cloud infrastructure is provided to the surveillance and dispatch teams.
Essential Job Functions:
Primary job responsibilities will include (but not be limited to) the following tasks. Other duties may be assigned depending on changes in business and/or operational needs:
• Develop and maintain a short-term tactical strategic tools for cloud infrastructure teams (working closely with Engineering teams within the organization)
• Work closely with Cloud Engineering teams, Cloud operations and Business Operations teams to accomplish visibility of cloud infrastructure to the NOC teams
• Work very closely with the OSS/BSS teams to ensure appropriate integrations are designed and implemented with Cloud Infrastructure
• Assist with automating the flow of updates from different Cloud Operations teams to the selected Knowledge Management (KM) Solution
• Develop, deploy and maintain solutions and utilities integrating TWC’s cloud infrastructure platforms to TWC NOC facing OSS platforms
• Maintain the current Work Intake System and develop enhancements as needed
• Develop and Integrate BI Reporting to support infrastructure cost show-back information
• Work closely with external vendors & suppliers to develop and deploy appropriate solutions & infrastructure
